Last updated: August 25, 2026 — draft for legal review.
This page sets out the specific rules that apply to e-auction lots on BuyBulk India, in addition to (not instead of) our general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Only registered buyer/seller accounts that have completed Mobile OTP verification and are in "Active" status may place bids. Bids from pending, blocked or unverified accounts are not accepted.
Each auction lot has a Starting Price and a minimum bid increment percentage, shown on the auction page. Every new bid must meet or exceed the current highest bid plus that increment — bids below the minimum required amount are rejected automatically.
Where shown, "Average Price" is an indicative reference figure provided by BuyBulk India / the seller for market context. It is not a floor, ceiling, or guarantee, and does not affect the bidding or minimum-increment logic.
By submitting a bid you make a binding offer to purchase the stated quantity at the stated price if selected as the winning bid. Bids cannot be withdrawn once submitted, except at BuyBulk India's sole discretion in cases of a clear technical or clerical error.
An auction closes at its stated end date/time, or earlier if closed by BuyBulk India admin. The bidder with the highest valid bid at closing is the winning bidder, subject to admin verification. Highest-bid and Top-5-bidder information shown on the auction page updates automatically as new bids are placed, but is not final until the auction is formally closed.
Where an auction includes supporting documents (Excel/Word/PDF), these are made available only to logged-in, active, registered buyer/seller members and may contain confidential product/pricing detail. Documents must not be shared, redistributed, or used outside the purpose of evaluating that auction lot.
Delivery timelines quoted at bid time are indicative commitments from the bidder. Payment, dispatch and inspection follow BuyBulk India's cash-and-carry policy described in the general Terms & Conditions, unless a different arrangement is separately agreed and documented in writing by both parties and BuyBulk India.
A winning bidder who fails to honor a bid without a valid reason accepted by BuyBulk India may have the win forfeited to the next-highest bidder and may face account suspension for repeated non-performance.
Disputes over bid validity, auction closure, or winner determination should be raised with BuyBulk India support within 48 hours of auction closure. BuyBulk India's admin records (bid history, timestamps) are treated as the authoritative record for resolving such disputes.
BuyBulk India may update these Auction Terms & Conditions from time to time; the version in effect at the time a bid is placed applies to that bid.
